General Advice
There are several options available for medical information by telephone and on the internet. Many frequently asked questions are addressed through the Patient Education page on our website. Here you will find a library of educational articles licensed through the American Academy of Pediatrics that provide advice on many pediatric issues including growth and development, feeding, sleeping and behavior.
Sick/Urgent Advice
We are also more than happy to assist you with urgent medical questions or "sick child" questions during our regular office hours. Our trained triage nurses can be reached at 856.691.8585. This service is available from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Here you can address issues such as medication refills or your child's current illness. If the triage nurses cannot satisfactorily answer your inquiry, they will pass a message along to a physician who will return your call at their earliest opportunity.
After hours advice is also available for urgent medical issues. This service is not to be used for routine questions. To reach this service, please call 856.691.8585 and follow the telephone prompts. If your child is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911!
Over-The-Counter Medication Dosages
Please follow instructions on the medication bottle carefully. Many of these products should not be used for infants under 6 months of age, unless otherwise instructed by your physician. If you have additional questions, please call our office number at 856.691.8585 and one of our triage nurses will call you back.
